A_Hunting_Shirt

The Hunting Shirt was the knee length leather coat worn by the Kentucky Long Hunters of the late 1700's to protect their underclothing from the briars and brambles, and to provide an extra layer of warmth on their long winter hunting expeditions. One of George 'Of All' Sizemore's sons was named Henry 'Hunting Shirt' Sizemore. Now you know why.
